1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Ticket Committee platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you may not access or use our services.
2. Description of Service
Ticket Committee provides an online platform for event organizers to create, manage, and sell tickets for events, and for attendees to purchase tickets and check in to events. Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Event creation and management
- Ticket sales and processing
- Attendee management
- Check-in/check-out functionality
- SMS notifications
- Analytics and reporting
3. Account Registration
To use certain features of our platform, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Subscription and Payment
Ticket Committee operates on a subscription basis. By subscribing to our service, you agree to pay the applicable fees as they become due. All payments are processed through Stripe.
Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but no refunds will be provided for any unused portion of your subscription period.
5. Event Organizer Responsibilities
As an event organizer using our platform, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring the accuracy of all event information
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
- Obtaining necessary permits and licenses for your events
- Managing your own Stripe account for payment processing
- Handling customer service for your attendees
- Properly managing attendee data in accordance with privacy laws
6. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
- Violating any laws or regulations
- Infringing on the intellectual property rights of others
- Using our platform for fraudulent or deceptive practices
- Interfering with the proper functioning of our platform
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Harassing, threatening, or intimidating others
- Creating or promoting events that are illegal or harmful
7. Intellectual Property
The Ticket Committee platform, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Retty Software, LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of our materials without our express written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Ticket Committee, its affiliates, or their licensors, service providers, employees, agents, officers, or directors be liable for damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with your use of our platform, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ticket Committee, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the platform.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on our platform and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
