Your first event is on us, and we build it with you so it is ready to sell.
Questions schools ask us
- What does "your first event is on us" mean?
- Your first event runs on Ticket Committee with no subscription charge, and we help you set it up. On ticket sales the only cost is standard card processing.
- What does it cost after that?
- Plans start at $99 per year, and we build custom plans for districts and larger programs. We do not take a cut of ticket sales, so the only cost on a ticket is standard card processing. Silent auctions are the one exception. Silent auctions carry a 1.2% platform fee on each winning item, capped at $15 no matter how high the bidding goes. We will go over what fits your school on the walkthrough.
- What happens on the walkthrough?
- A short call at a time that works for you. We show you how a ticket sale, the door check-in and the parent texts work, using the kind of event you are planning, and answer your questions.
- Is student data kept private?
- Yes. Ticket Committee is built to comply with student data privacy agreements, and ours is published on this site.
- Can students pay with cash?
- Yes. Students can register online and pay with cash before the event or at the door, so you still collect their information.
- Do we need special equipment at the door?
- No. Staff and volunteers scan tickets with their own phones.
